The Cyprus Postal Service will resume regular mail services on Friday to Belgium, Greece, Germany, the UK and the USA. This was announced on Tuesday March 31.
The services offered are regular mail, parcels and express delivery by EMS.
The announcement states that special conditions and restrictions will apply.
For example, the dispatch of medicines is permitted without the permission of the Ministry of Health, provided that the parcel is delivered from person to person and in small quantities – intended solely for personal use.
“We would also like to inform you that the same restrictive measures are also applied in the countries of destination and, as a result, delays in the processing of goods are expected.”
“Equally important, we urge citizens to adhere to relevant decrees and visit post offices only for urgent cases of sending or receiving goods, applying all safety rules in place.”
