Investor’s property for 6 million euros frozen


Huge real estate and money totaling almost 6 million euros belonging to a person who received a gold passport under the Cyprus Citizenship by Investment program has been frozen based on a court order issued by the Anti-Money Laundering Authority (MOKAS).

He is a Chinese citizen who received Cypriot citizenship with his family in 2015. The investor is wanted by the Chinese authorities on gold fraud cases and is pending an international arrest warrant. However, he became a Cypriot citizen and invested a huge amount of money in the island.

According to the information, he is currently in Cyprus.
