Cyprus extended the ban on flights until mid-May

Cyprus extended the ban on commercial air traffic until May 17.

In a statement on Friday, April 24, the Ministry of Transport announced that the decision was made by the Council of Ministers yesterday.

It says that the decree of April 18, prohibiting passenger flights until April 30, is now extended until Sunday, May 17.

However, the Ministry of Transport has the right to repatriate Cypriots who find themselves abroad.

Over the next few days, a number of repatriation flights are planned.
