Blue Air announces the resumption of scheduled flights from the Cyprus base


From June 21, 2020, Blue Air announces the resumption of regular flights from Cyprus on the following routes: Larnaca – Athens, Larnaca – Thessaloniki and Larnaca – Bucharest. 

Blue Air’s summer program for 2020 from Cyprus will operate as follows:

  • From June 21 to October 23, Blue Air operates six flights a week on the Larnaca – Athens – Larnaca route.
  • From June 21st to June 30th, Blue Air operates two flights per week and from July 2nd to October 23rd, Blue Air operates four flights per week on the Larnaca – Thessaloniki – Larnaca route.
  • From July 1 to October 24, Blue Air operates four flights a week on the Larnaca-Bucharest-Larnaca route.

Health safety measures
Blue Air has strictly enforced safety protocols on its aircraft. All Blue Air aircraft are disinfected daily and are equipped with HEPA air filters that capture more than 99.97% of the airborne germs in the filtered air.

Blue Air passengers are required to wear masks throughout the trip, disinfect their hands and avoid unnecessary movements inside the cabin. A hand luggage is allowed on the aircraft, measuring 55 x 40 x 20 cm and weighing up to 10 kg. The crews will guide passengers on hygiene measures and ensure their compliance.
