The new CEO of AstroBank, according to information from Economy Today, seems to be the experienced Greek banker Aristidis Vourakis.
Mr. Vourakis is 45 years old and seems to be one of the most successful bankers who have come to Cyprus.
After his studies at the University of Piraeus he managed to join JP Morgan London having 18 years of successful investment banking experience in JP Morgan London.
This is a person who knows very well the markets in which AstroBank operates.
The new CEO of Astro Bank has extensive experience in the financial sector, having in his assets a large number of successful investment transactions, including in Greece, the Middle East, Europe and Russia.
He also participated in the restructuring of the Greek debt in 2012 and had worked to attract American investment funds in Greece while he had served as Deputy CEO of the large Arab banking group AUDI.
Therefore, Aristidis Vourakis will be his replacement, until recently CEO of Astro Bank, Konstantinos Loizidis.
